In 2015, Toyota plant in Princeton achieved the ENERGY
STAR challenge for Industry program. Through the program, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognizes plants that reduce their energy intensity by 10 percent within 5 years.

Additionally, the Princeton plant was recognized as 2015 ENERGY STAR Manufacturing Plants for reaching the top 25% of energy performance in the automotive industry in the United States.
