Boonville-New Harmony Branch
The new branch is located at Boonville-New Harmony Road and U.S. 41
To offset their energy usage and promote environmental sustainability, the new Boonville-New Harmony branch utilizes a solar canopy over their parking lots. Solar canopies are elevated structures that host solar panels. Their solar parking lots provide not only shade for cars but also generate 30kw of renewable energy. The Boonville-New Harmony branch is expected to open in the Fall of 2018 and will serve as a prototype for future locations.
Solar canopy: In addition to generating electricity from the sun, these structures provide shade during summer and protection from precipitation.
