Recyclables are collected at Wesselman Nature Recycling Center (551 N. Boeke Road) from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., 7 days a week. They accept cardboard, mixed paper, white office paper, newspaper, aluminum beverage cans, telephone books, and magazines and catalogs.

Curbside Recycling Program

Vanderburgh County provides curbside collection for recyclables, including newspapers and inserts, aluminum and metal cans, PETE #1 and HDPE #2 plastic bottles, cardboard, glass bottles, and mixed paper.

You can recycle your recyclables on drop-off recycling days. More than 20 of these events are held each year.

Recyclables accepted on these drop-off days include newspaper, household mixed paper, magazines and catalogs, corrugated cardboard, glass containers, #1 and #2 plastic bottles, and aluminum and metal cans.

A list of recycling events is available from here.
